Gina Raye, Employing Broker Gina Raye has spent the last twenty years of her real estate career in various positions, leading to her full-balance of knowledge in both the development arena and real estate listings and sales. She was awarded many top marketing/sales awards in the first five years of her career, working for Land Properties, Inc. which led into multiple individual and team awards for successful closings. She was a pioneer in bringing women into the land/showing adventure that had been designated a "man's" field for many years. She was a member of "Sky Club," an honored designation in the land/development field for top sales and contributions to the communities built through innovative and interpersonal marketing/tours. Her knowledge and experience in contracts and leadership skills, led to a General Management position of three offices, Trinidad, Cuchara/La Veta, and Navajo Ranch outside of Walsenburg. She served on the Board of Directors for the most successful Land Sales Company in southern Colorado and as President/Director of over multiple Property Owner Associations and development entities, handling over $250,000,000.00 in property sales. Annually she supervised over $45,000,000.00 in property inventory with a staff of 25 agents and six support staff employees. She specialized in team building cohesive teams of business and development managers and sales/marketing teams. In 1999, she was awarded the "James E. Young, Legendary Service Award for "A Step Ahead and A Cut of Above", a highly prestigious and coveted honor in the field. In 2007, she was awarded "Business Woman of the Year" by the Trinidad/Las Animas County Chamber of Commerce. This award was based on helping double the county population through the marketing of "steward-style" quality 35-acre developments that looked into the future interaction of environmental issues and preservation. Today, she is known for her community service, mediation skills and her wealth of knowledge in resources, helping America move forward in difficult times. She believes in a philosophy of "win-win" for all, as we all forge ahead together to make the world a better place for our children's future.  John Raye, Broker John has led the sales team for the last nineteen years after a previous career in development of work hardening and safety programs, along with physical therapy assistance in clinicals. He is a native of Colorado. He is a modern-day mountain man. His love and deep understanding of Colorado's mountain terrain and wilderness is apparent in his success at dreamfinding". This term was coined especially to describe John...Recipient of numerous "Team Player" and Top Closer of the Year Awards, he has trained almost every professional land specialist in southern Colorado. He was Acquisitions Director for Land Properties, Inc. from 1996 to 2002 and served on the Board of Directors for a five-city company for a period of four years. He was a continuous member of "Sky Club". He has sold over 50 million dollars in property during his career and helped many property owners during their transition from City-Life to healthy country living. It is always an honor to tour with John's Legendary knowledge and insight. He is a leader in Acquisitions, presently with our International Consulting and Marketing group. He specializes in assisting mergers and new businesses, working with Development Managers and Teams. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of New Mexico and several occupational certifications.  Ivory Raye, Consultant and Part-Time Administrator Ivory has been an integral part of our sales team since 2007, office and staff manager, and real estate associate broker in 2008-2009. She has a degree in International Business from Denver University, with a minor in Communications, and has been accepted to Medical School at Arizona State University in naturopathic medicine. She willl remain as a member of our International Consulting group - The Raye Team - a Consulting and Marketing group in the pursuit of helping others develop plans and solutions for our world's future.  Luke Raye, Broker Associate A lifelong resident of Colorado, both here in southern Colorado and Denver, adds real value and insight to our team here at Colorado Land Properties. Coming from a career in entertainment promotion, he led the sales team in marketing/generation from 2004-2008 and then left to lead a sales team in marketing/contracts in the Metro Denver area. His love for both the mountains and City-Life gives him a deep empathy for both worlds. Today, Luke is a member of our International Consulting Team and contributes to the planning of marketing and sales for outside companies.  Steve Jacobs Steve Jacobs started his first business enterprise when he was sixteen years old, and in so doing began an exuberant entrepreneurial romp which now, four and a half decades later, has yet to run it's course. He is a voracious reader and visionary whose reach chronically exceeds his grasp. At every fork in the road, his nature has impelled him to explore the less traveled way. Usually self-employed, always alive to opportunity for innovation, he's acquired and practiced an astonishing variety of skills, including (but not limited to) rare book dealer, printer, advertising agency creative director, publisher, typographer, direct mail copywriter, programmer, Internet guru and itinerant piano tuner. In 1989 he located in Trinidad, Colorado, where his main focus became tourism marketing, creating and producing successful and highly effective tourist publications for the southern Colorado and northern New Mexico markets. In 1995 Steve discovered the World Wide Web, and it took him about a hour to understand that it would soon change everyone's life. Unsurprisingly, he promptly began to redirect his marketing experience and technical skills towards this then relatively unknown medium. He became expert in developing custom content management systems for newspapers, government agencies and the real estate industry long before the term “content management” became common. Today, he is known as a leading southern Colorado web developer and marketing consultant. He is the primary architect and developer of Trinidadcolorado.net, a business-oriented community Internet portal for southern Colorado small businesses. Trinidadcolorado.net is also a test-bed for new concepts and code relating to one of his main interests, Internet-based economic development solutions for small communities. He is the developer of this site. He still dabbles in rare books.
